Another busy week for earnings is on board. There are 855 firms scheduled to report including S&P 500 members Cisco (CSCO), Ford (F), Time Warner (TWX), Marathon (MRO), Anadarko (APC) and Devon (DVN) plus a Dow 30 Component, Kraft Foods (KFT).

Also coming in hot are key economic data reports including the ISM Manufacturing Index, pending home sales and the most desired October employment report (presented on Friday).

DETECH RANK BUY STOCKS


•Aggressive Growth - Urban Outfitters (URBN) has received 9 upward estimate revisions for both this year and the next. Urban Outfitters is operating with a net profit margin of 9.8%, much higher than the 1.4% its peers' average. The company also boasts a ROE of nearly 17%, 10% higher than the industry average.

•Growth & Income - Strayer Education, Inc. (STRA) delivered a record third quarter. Earnings per share of $1.21 topped the year-prior 83 cents and outpaced the Detech Consensus Estimate by 4%. Revenues totaled $114.4 million, a 31% increase year-over-year. Fall enrollments jumped 22%.

•Momentum - Western Digital Corp. (WDC) third-quarter revenue was up 5% from last year to $2.1 billion. Earnings came in strong at $1.25 per share, easily outpacing the Detech Consensus Estimate of 90 cents. The company has beat in each of the last 4 quarters by an average of 31 cents, or 113%.

•Value - MasTec Inc. (MTZ) raised its EPS guidance for 2009 to 88 cents from its prior forecast of 85 cents. Analysts have been reacting to the third quarter report and guidance increase. The full-year Detech Consensus jumped to 88 cents from 86 cents with the two covering analysts both raising in the last week.
